Patient Rights and Responsibilities

Patient Responsibilities

  • Giving Information: Our patients have to inform the hospital staff about their social security and personal information completely and accurately. If there is a change in the information, they should update the subject.
  • Our patient; He/she is required to inform his/her doctor accurately and completely about his/her complaints, diseases, treatments applied, medications used and general health status.
  • Compliance with Recommendations: We expect our patients to follow the treatment plan recommended by their doctor.
  • Rejecting the Planned Treatment: Our patients will be responsible for the risks that may occur if they do not comply with the planned treatment.
  • Health Institution Rules and Practices: Our patients must comply with the rules and principles determined by the hospital. If our patients do not listen to the warnings made by the hospital; In case of causing complaints and discomfort of other patients, transfer to another health institution may be envisaged.
  • Respect: Our patients should respect the rights of other patients and hospital staff.
  • Contagious Disease Status: Our patients with suspected or diagnosed communicable diseases should not request to be discharged without the permission of their doctor.
  • Inappropriate Request: Our patients should not request the administration or application of a drug that is not considered appropriate by their doctor and is not included in the treatment plan.
  • Patient Visitor: Our patients should accept their visitors within the framework of the rules determined by the hospital.
  • Examination – Treatment Expenses and Responsibility for Payment: The patient should inform the patient how he will pay the health expenses at the stage of admission to the hospital. The amount required for treatment must be paid within the time specified by the hospital. In the event that our patient uses the hospital’s fixtures and consumables incorrectly or intentionally damages them, the patient is asked to compensate for this damage.
